Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Rockville, MD

I have been working at GlaxoSmithKline full-time (more than 5 years)

First line management is engaged with employee needs to get the job done. Flexible hours. Friendly staff and team atmosphere.

Upper management is out of touch with needs of employees. Promotion go to who they know. Retention of employees seems to be a problem.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Use more common sense. Some internal initiatives waste time from actual work being performed, and puts false emphasis on promoting safety while working with less.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
