I worked at Godiva Chocolatier part-time (less than a year)

I enjoyed working with my first manager and my fellow sales associates... until we all left for other opportunities when management changed.

Management did not consider time off requests. I had another job that paid more, and he continued to put me on the schedule even though I put in a notice. I had no days off between the two jobs, and was told that if I didn't show up for my shifts, it would reflect poorly on my status when I left the company. The worst part? I'm not the only one this happened to.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you are willing to give yourself certain days off all the time, you need to do the same for your staff and listen to them when they feel overworked before you drive them away.
