I worked at Gold Rush 1849 for less than a year

    Pros

Very friendly environment, take lunch whenever you want.

    Cons

Do not be fooled by the title, this is not an account manager, this is a door to door salesman, selling Verizon to small business. First you are called for a quick 5 minute interview in which they call you later that day to set you up for a shadow interview for the next day. You get there at 9, and shadow until 5. Once hired you train for 5 says unpaid. There is no training, all you do is shadow different people and see what they do. The biggest problem is that they are cheats. They promise $450 a week plus 25% commission. The thing is they add stipulation and requirements not on the contract you sign, and they refuse to pay you any money. I worked for 2 weeks and made $20, not a typo, $20.
