I have been working at Golder Associates full-time

Flexible job schedule, great clients, technical community is expansive and offers a lot of resources in several different practice areas.

Management, mediocre salary,work/home life balance, health insurance is expensive. Employee-owned but doesn't feel like it anymore. Company is too top-heavy. No appreciation for hard work. No mentoring.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I am a long-term employee at Golder. I enjoyed working for this company until about four years ago when the management in my region changed. The current manager lacks basic people skills and leadership skills. There is no appreciation for hard work.

I chose Golder because the people and managers that worked here were smart, compassionate, and the morale was extremely high. The opposite is now true of management and morale. In a sense, Golder has lost its "Golderness" and I don't think there is any way for the company to find it again.
