I worked at Golfland Entertaiment Center part-time for less than a year

I could get a friend into the park for free on my days off which was pretty cool. And you got bonuses in your paycheck of arcade tokens.

Overall, this was not the job for me. If I was not slide dispatching, I was not having a good time. Customer service and customer interaction is something I care about a lot and as a guard, if you are on duty you are not allowed to take your eyes off the water. Which does make sense but it also means that you cannot look a person in the eyes when they ask you a question. I was not a huge fan of that. Slide dispatching was my favorite because I got to talk to the guests and help them with whatever sorts of questions they had. I was too into customer service to be a lifeguard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My management was very good actually. I loved all my supervisors. Most of them were college age and they were all pretty cool and would come and talk with you and make the hours of standing in the sun not quite as terrible.
