I worked at GoodLife Fitness full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Members become family
Interest in fitness can lead to good conversation
    Good pay
Opportunity for growth based on success in sales (no matter what position)

    Cons

In my experience I had to deal with my manager emotionally manipulate me to force memberships down people's throats as well as also being sexual harassed. Even though me and other female coworkers brought this up to HR it was not addressed. My guess was because it was due to his high performance and membership sales for our district. I ended up leaving due to the fact that when I asked him for time off due to my mother being ill he told me if I took time off he would hire a replacement all while I was gone (yes, I would be fired for visiting my ill mother for a week.) all in all I found out that 6 months after I quit HR finally decided to fire him after too many complaints to ignore.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of caring about money and sales care about the members fitness like you SAY you do..
