    I have been working at Gordon & Rees full-time (more than 3 years)


    It can be an way into sort-of big law. And, frankly, a lawyer-job is a lawyer-job. As in, things could be worse. If you can get the bosses to leave you alone, you can work on some fun cases.


    Firm is on the way downhill. Their strategy is to underpay associates and then billing clients low rates to undercut competition. Then firm politics can be rough; the bosses tend to be panicky and over-reactive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay more. If you are going to give people big law-style headaches, the money should at least be big law level.
