    I have been working at Govig & Associates full-time (less than an year)


    Before stepping into a brand new industry, I spent most of my years in retail working with various corporations. I graduated from the local university and did not plan on obtaining a new job until changes at my employer began to affect my life at home. I knew that I needed to find something more rewarding in which I may be able to use my past skills, and newly completed education. I endured more than most recent graduates. After graduating, I was offered a new job with another recruiting firm that was much smaller in PHX. Before leaving my retail employer, the offer was retracted due to poor business planning and other internal issues. I was a candidate before I became an employee with Govig. I worked with the Local Market team to seek employment, until I came across an opportunity to interview with Govig.

    I went on a total of 3 interviews with Govig, but was hired in the matter of 1.5 weeks. Since I became an active part of the Govig family, I have learned more than I thought I would and already achieved much success due to support system company wide. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you can ask any colleague on any of the teams questions to help guide you in the right direction. If you are looking for a completely rewarding career with an awesome environment filled with a diverse group of people, then this is the place for you.

    We all work hard so we can play even harder.


    Training: Some might find the training process to be a con, but the only way you can learn something new is by diving in, making mistakes, and ask questions.
    Not a 9-5: I do not see this as a problem, but again some might see it as an issue. You only get out of your work, what you put into it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Having bi-weekly statuses with trainees will allow them to better gauge how they are performing.
