I have been working at Grant Thornton International

    Pros

It appears to be Good environment, there is a potential to move up if you can get through the politics. GT talks about "experience" which once you are caught up in politics will be short of hell. There are some very good partners in the group.

    Cons

Grant Thorntons Advisory services is in a train wreck in So Cal. No one knows what they are doing. They have some self centered people at the helm. They are getting rid of the best and brightest and keeping a whole bunch of "Yes" men. The downward spiral is of an immense proportion. Partners in the group have no clue to what's going in the market place. If you enjoy lack of compassion, respect and tremendous politics this is the place to be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please fire the Advisory leadership in Southern California. They have ruined a healthy practice to the ground.
