Interesting products and friendly working environment with a comfortable office that gets lots of light.
Flexible hours and home working are widely available and there isn't a 'Face Time' culture.
Because the company is still smallish it's possibly to dabble in many areas if you ask.Cons
Low to average salaries and no element of performance based pay outside of sales roles - If you get more experience/market value of your role grows the only way to realise this is to move jobs, even when the advert for your replacement is what you were asking for.
The only way to get promoted is to hang around for long enough, the management structure correlates almost perfectly with the order people joined the company - The Peter Principle in action.
Senior management have a delusion that the products are groundbreaking and the company is revolutionary.
There is a complete unwillingness to invest in new internal processes and training, this leads to a large number of false economies.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Bring some fresh blood in to the senior management team, the current set up clearly isn't working.
Work on your renumeration policies - People won't accept below average salaries for ever just for the pleasure of working in your company, especially if growth isn't as high as it has been historically.
