I have been working at Greenpath full-time (More than 5 years)
I have been with greenpath for a number of years and worked in pretty much every end of the call center. The PTO is generous the hours can be flexible. My coworkers are generally the highlight of my day. I get to help people daily which can be treading despite the handful of crazy people or out of touch consumers. Getting to the counseling position can be quite fast and the pay raises associates with it are great. Once you get to counselor the growth stagnates. Good luck getting off the phones. The positions are few and far between and tend to go to those that put in the time. My immediate manager is great most if not all are former counselors, which can be great having a boss that understands the position and demands a call center has. My immediate manager is supportive and responds sickly which is nice even if they are off for the day. We have a cafe which can be a time saver is getting pricey. Overall pretty good starter job can't see myself in a call center forever.
Wages have stagnated as well. Freez in raises and retirement contributions really hurt. As time has gone on the level of micro management is getting excessive. Above the call center managers I am not sure if there is any call very experience in upper management and it is evident. They try to do thing to improve the moral and some had worked like loosening the ridiculously high expectations. Some seem juvenile and more like pet projects so management can say they tried.
Advice to Management
Counselors are people not machines. Recent change at the top has many hopeful a more call center centric approach will be taken. Continuing to be honest and increasing pay for the counseling position. When I started the position the pay was fair the job is so much more now with way more work and stress.
