The PEOPLE are amazing. Whether you love the outdoors or playing shuffle board (or both), you're joining a wonderful community of people who you'll find yourself inviting to weekend hikes or the local brewery. Oh, and they just happen to be smart and excellent at what they do. Additionally, the leadership here really cares about you as a person, whether that means making sure you have a catered lunch that fulfills your special dietary needs or that you receive the professional development opportunities you need to grow in your career.

And don't forget the global community of geocachers you have the opportunity to support! It's an honor to be able to help people around the world spend time with their families, play outside, and build community. I really love that the company does such a good job of sharing community stories. Whether you're a developer or community manager, you're always reminded why the work you do is important.

If you're looking to simply move up the ladder, this is not the place for you. I personally love that we lack a strict hierarchy and that good ideas are valued no matter who or where they come from. But if you have a 5 year plan the includes a title change or a managerial position, you might find yourself frustrated and disappointed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's simple. Just keep living our company values: passion, effectiveness, and authenticity. As long as this place and the people it employs continue to be quirky and hard-working, we're going to be more than fine -- we're going to be AWESOME. Thanks for being your wonderful selves. :)
