    I have been working at Habitat for Humanity full-time


    Habitat lets you do your job without a lot of micro managing. Their expectations of you are realistic and you get the support you need to achieve your goals. Their benefit package is very good and includes a retirement plan, vacation and sick days.


    Outside of cost of living increases each year which is great, raises are hard to come by no matter how well you do your job. Changes with your position can be discussed by the management without you knowing about it until a decision has been made.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    When considering a new project that may involve someone on staff, invite that person in so they can decide if they can do the job instead of them finding out later, it's just being courteous .
