I worked at Halo Pharmaceutical full-time

    Pros

None. Usually I can find positives in any situation, but this is a rare company/job where I couldn't find a single positive trait to list.

    Cons

    Where do I begin?

    - Salary and benefits: worst I have ever seen. Salary was insultingly low and the benefits/401k options were below the norm as far as other companies I have worked for. There is practically no financial benefit to work for this company.

    - No job security. Practically everyday there is a "termination" email sent out by Human Resources stating names of people who no longer work there. That usually is not a good sign.

    - Disrespectful management: talk down to employees via email, phone, and face-to-face. Do not motivate employees with encouragement or trust, but rather put them down, which leads to be a bad work environment.

    - Dishonest Job Interview: I do not know if they do this routinely, as I can't speak for others, but for me they mislead me on the job description. The job ended up being nothing like they told me about, and the title of the position did not reflect the work. It was essentially a clerical position while the title implied a much more in-depth role. If someone lied on their resume, their character would be questioned, right? Well, companies should be held to the same standard. Why lie to potential employees about the job? If they were honest with me, I would have never accepted the role in the first place.

    - Very small company. Imagine the smallest company you have ever worked for. Halo is smaller than that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your employees better. Treat your employees better. Be honest to your employees and to potential employees you interview.
