I have been working at Hampton Inn (Less than a year)
Gets to come in later in the morning to start the job. And gets a discount on a hotel room if traveling.
Don't make the hourly pay rate that is listed on different websites, is less than what is given on the internet. No benefits for any employee. No paid vacation for any employee, no increase pay after a few months, no medical insurance is given to any employee.
Advice to Management
All Hampton Inn's should stick to what the actual pay rates are for all areas of the country of America. The hotel location I work at now has a difficult time keeping employees due to terrible conditions of employees benefits. I'm not planning on working at a job that only pays out $7.25 an hour when it should be $9.88 an hour, or around that ball park. Employees who have been at this hotel for years don't get any benefits even after working full time. The location where I live says its a state law that I should get $7.25 an hour but Hampton Inn, in general, gives out over $9.50 an hour for housekeeping and laundry. I'm thinking about moving to another state all together just to get a better paying job starting out to get a head in life. $7.25 can't buy anything when only working part time.
