Great department, but uncertain about the current company as a whole.

I worked at Hanley Wood full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Relaxed and casual environment in a corporate setting. Extra days off before major holidays are a huge plus, as well as flex time schedules. Several company events a year (summer party, holiday party, etc.) are welcome distractions.

    Cons

For more than two years the company has been in a "transition phase" - creating and eliminating positions often has become the routine, leaving many feeling incredibly insecure about longevity with the company. There is a clique-ish culture within most of the management teams that creates an atmosphere of exclusion among much of the other staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on stability for the company and its employees, and ease back on trying to be 'the next big thing.'
