    I worked at Harte Hanks full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    The people were awesome
    Sometimes they fed us with food trucks and "barbecue" days which were really cold burgers and hot dogs
    Not much else

    Cons

    Management is EXTREMELY PETTY! They will waster no time picking out who they don't like and they have an "SPI" policy that includes no food, electronics, blankets etc. at your desk for fear of "confidential" info leaking out
    They will literally hire anyone off the street
    I know of at least TWO people in supervisory positions that were former felons, were on parole, etc.
    Turn over rate is ridiculous! They definitely see their agents as seats to fill and will waste no time in getting rid of you if you aren't all about the company
    No real life/work balance
    Micromanaged!!! And yes, it's a vendor site call center but most managers weren't even familiar with our products they were solely hired or in their positions to push numbers
    Constant threat of being fired if you aren't a favorite
    No real HR department
    One of the supervisors is a known creep and multiple reports were filed against him for sexual assault in the workplace but guess what - HE STILL WORKS THERE IN A MANAGEMENT POSITION NO LESS.
    They will give you a slap on the wrist for serious offensives but God forbid you miss a couple days of work because if you do - that's it you're fired
    During the terrible icy weather last winter they didn't shut down or delay hours. Most of my coworkers lived south or way north of austin but hey, Harte Hanks needed their seats filled so who cares about their agents safety right?
    Terrible, terrible company. No actual "culture" to speak of and the most ghetto and uneducated upper management and coworkers I've ever met
    I can't say enough bad things about this company
