I have been working at Healogics full-time

Enjoyable job in healthcare with great hours (typically M-F 8-4:30, depending on hospital partner)

Employees in the field don't seem to be as appreciated or as valuable as the employees working at corporate. Which is ridiculous because if not for the employees working in the wound clinics (where 100% of Healogics' revenue is generated) there wouldn't be corporate employees. For example, most Healogics employees working in a wound center are ineligible for FMLA because of not meeting the requirement of having 50 employees in a 75 mile radius. I understand this is the way the law was written, but in this case, it's really a large company, with thousands of employees, taking advantage of a loophole. Programs directors are very micromanaged, and are fired in an instant if the hospital partner has an issue with him/her (contract retention is key) Very little room for advancement or growth

    Advice to Management

Value the employees who keep your wound centers running from day to day. Don't exclude them from benefits that are offered to corporate employees.
