    Pros

Support for work/life balance. Good benefits and pay is average.

    Cons

Continually doing more with less. Constant layoffs and restructuring has negative impact on morale and ability to provide good customer service.

Senior management has no apparent concern about how erratic decision-making and lack of communications about company direction and strategy have on the employees. Many upper management executives are viewed as unapproachable and out of touch.

Complete lack of support for real employee development and training. Professional development is not financially supported by the company, except for very narrowly defined benefits for continuing education.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop using layoffs as a method to increase profitability. People have become numb because of all of the changes. Increase communication about what is really happening in the company. The rumor mill is alive and well, and most employees are extremely concerned about ongoing layoffs.
