Company (Love Holdings) has fun parties and events around the holidays, but not much fun going on in banking.
Your experience at the bank relies heavily on who your co-workers are.
Training was very helpful.
I did like that managers rarely admitted fault when customers were in the wrong.
Managers take sexual harassment and hostile work environments seriously.
Performance reviews are helpful, but not much is done coaching wise.Cons
Tellers are frequently left to blame for things that operations, or branch managers should have checked over.
This industry is heavily regulated, so brace yourself for the mind numbing compliance.
Prepare to get yelled at by customer's when they are at fault.
The mortgage division was a pain to deal with.
Even though training was very helpful, the company seems to change the rules on what is "ok" in operations, and what is not "ok" without much warning.
When people were promoted, the pay increase was marginal.
Banking people love their titles.
