I have been working at Henniges Automotive full-time (More than 5 years)
Nice building, some nice people, and leaders in Finance are very smart, the HR staff is good but the HR leaders are awful. The engineers are smart and driven to succeed. Quality and supply chain seem to be improving.
The company is full of people who worked together at another auto supplier some years ago. That is a tight group with its evil ringleader in HR. They are vindictive, petty people who will stab you and each other in the back and front, tell you, and then expect you to thank them for it. There is a lot of inbreeding in the hiring process. I do not recommend. I recommend running away as long as the same HR leaders are in lace.
Advice to Management
Reorganize your HR and finance departments. HR, from the top down and finance from within. The HR V.P. is a cancer to the company and a culture and morale killer. People do not like or trust her and they shouldn't. She only got her job because of her husband's relationship with the prior owner - she had no c-suite experience before that and it shows. She hires her old friends and family to keep herself protected. In other areas, note that key executives were let go but she was kept, inexplicably.
