I worked at Henry S. Miller as a contractor
The pros of Henry S. Miller would include the same as working at any larger office as opposed to a boutique brokerage or individual which is camaraderie of like minded individuals. Although the clerical staff was incompetent and cantankeros, there is somewhat of a support staff to assist on marketing and research.
The company operates like a 1995 real estate office with the same strategies as well as the office staff are unpleasant to work with. They aren't offering much in the way of research as the limit services that the company has access to is only limited to certain individuals in the office. Those individuals are very hard to work with and slow on turn around research. Often times it was the wrong information. In order to work here you will have to submit your personal computer for them to hack on and if you decide to leave they will delete all your files.
Advice to Management
A change of management personnel is in direct order as the times have ultimately changed in the way of innovative online marketing strategies. Offering a support staff or system for brokers based on seniority in the business would greatly affect the production of commissions. The direction of the department heads is futile at best and a direct reason of the massive downsize.
