I have been working at Hertz full-time

    Pros

It pays some of the bills. Good for students or recent grads to get into the job market but please don't stay here too long (I've worked here 6 years, I should know ) and the growth is not as quick as they say even when your personal numbers prove you're great at what you do. Go some place else that values your qualifications and intelligence

    Cons

No work life balance @ 50+hours p/week. Office culture depends on who the office manager is. Constant heckling and abuse from needy customers will soon drive you crazy. All the good stuff about the company is on paper only, it doesn't really trickle down to the store level. Office politics, butt-kissing etc will get you very far.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The employees at the bottom of the ladder who do the work and bring in the $$ feel undervalued. There is no support from upper management to grow except to make more and more money while being paid less. Its a sorry situation.
