    I have been working at Hertz

    Pros

    No more than a 40 hour work week. Not much overtime demand on the Managers. Just 'go along to get along' and your ratings will be average if not better. Easy to impress the Directors who we report to.

    Cons

    Company seems to be 'circling the drain' and not just because of the travel industry is down. not adapting new tech fast enough. Continues giving out large managment bonuses regardless of revenue. company outsourced all IT to India programmers and developers so no ownership of IT. From a Business perspective the IT groups Managers seem more interested in keeping their intermediary jobs more than serving Business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop laying of all workers with more than 10-years service and hiring more Sr. people with no experience in the travel industry.
