    Pros

    at the moment there are no pros to being an HP employee. perhaps maybe job security if you survive the layoffs since you'll be one of the few left standing.

    Cons

    layoffs and not backfilling open positions from attrition, to purely boost stock price, has left employees feeling overstressed and underappreciated. plus low or no bonuses. all to raise stock prices at the expense of the worker bee. pretty standard big business crap. HP isn't the company it used to be.

    Advice to Management

    worry more about keeping employees long-term and less about short-term stock price. also, do more compensation research. you've lost touch with reality.
