    I worked at Hilton International full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Decent benefits, bonuses awarded by trimester, employee travel benefits. Work life balance really depends on your position. Some people in my department seemed to skirt by doing the bare minimum, while others worked well over their 40 hours per week.

    Cons

    Office politics were always a factor.
    Growth is stagnant - emphasis was placed on bringing in new people rather than rewarding those who had earned it
    Department head was a dictator and definitely played favorites. PTO increases with your length of service, it takes a while before you get a decent amount.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Your people are your most important assets. Treat them like they deserve to be treated.
