I worked at Holiday Retirement full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

They have very good detailed systems for operations. Even though pay is not great you can save a lot because you have no time to spend it and all other items are paid for.

    Cons

Regional manager was not very good and the pressure for occupancy is relentless. You could be loved by residents, be a great leader of staff and property but if you don't shine in marketing and sales your days are numbered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Read these comments made from various levels of the organization over a long period of time and ask yourselfs what do we need to do to improve the culture and health of this slowly deteriorating business. Its a top down management problem.
