    I have been working at Huge full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    It's easy to fall in love with Huge. The people are always super smart and mostly super nice too. When it comes to knowledge sharing and learning, Huge is a great place to get a lot of experience fast. If there is something or someone that sucks, Huge will eventually make the necessary corrections. It takes a little longer than it should and that ends up costing the organization good people but it will happen, which is better than I can say for most organizations.

    Cons

    This is, hands down, the best place I have ever worked but I wonder if it will stay that way. Management/leadership at all levels need some help. There are a lot of examples where people are promoted when they don't, and will never have, the core skills to lead. The department heads seem to have different goals and don't seem to work well together which is bad for business. Also, in order to be heard and to incite change, you might have to quit. Expressing dissatisfaction or a solution to an issue is not enough. You actually have to quit and then even if you aren't that great Huge will move heaven and Earth to retain you. It's demotivating. Also, can we get an idea of what Huge is trying to do? If you have a vision, please share it. With more clarity, you will retain the right people and hire people who will stay longer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take a look at the high turnover in certain departments and make some leadership changes. Identify people in the organization who can lead and invest in/listen to them. Cool it on the Business Strategy hiring. Shield us from all things IPG so that we can stay Huge.
