    I have been working at Hunter Douglas (US) full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits, flexible time off allowances (specifically for school events for your children if you have them). Expectations are constantly changing and increasing with no pay for more work to be done. Very little support to learn the product. Management out of touch with reality

    Cons

    No movement within company, and if there is, its a Boy's Club. Pay for the employees who are the heart of HD (customer service) is very low with everyone receiving a 1% increase annually. Expectations are constantly changing and increasing with no pay for more work to be done. Very little support to learn the product. Management out of touch with reality

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Give raises based on merit. Allow more opportunities. Recognize that your employees are constantly being stretched as their job descriptions get larger and larger, but you don't compensate for that nor understand when the workload is unreasonable. Come back to earth and see how the rest of us live!
