    Pros

Relaxed atmosphere - dress code. If you're not facing customers you can pretty much get away with jeans and a t-shirt. In the IT department we did the polo's during the week or t-shirts.

Benefits are available on day one, matching 401(k) plan up to 3%, PTO and Sick are woven into the same thing which means you accrue a bit quicker but if you're sick it takes from your vacation time (sort of a con but take it with a grain of salt).

Approachable Management Team - Open door policy in the IT department. KJ, MK and SM are all available if you have a question or need to talk to management about something in your team. Those are the managers in the IT department (I didn't want to give names).

    Cons

Benefits are sliding a bit. The deductibles are going up but that's more thanks to Obama and the ridiculous new laws rather than the company. All companies are being hit with higher costs thanks to Obamacare. The benefits before Obamacare were A-MAZING. Had an appendectomy and was in hospital for 3 days and only paid $250... now it's much much higher costing than that.

Parking is a hassle at times.

The commute through San Elijo is mind numbing. The two schools create massive traffic and if you want to start at 8am you need to get to San Elijo by 7:30 even though it's only 1 or 2 miles to the office from there. They're building a new school at the top of Twin Oaks so that'll create more of a jam with everyone dropping off one kid per car. The only way I saw to avoid this was to start my day at 7am and leave at 4pm.... with managers approval you can avoid the stress altogether :)

IT worked about every weekend with something. That's to be expected with implementing new technology but at times it gets in the way with life and family plus no one wants to work 6 or 7 days a week no matter what they do.

    Advice to Management

I would have liked to see a remote work policy implemented especially for folks who live north of the 78 (Temecula, Hemet, Murietta) and work in non-customer facing roles like Systems Admin/Engineer where they can perform all work remotely and even attend meeting remotely through Lync. That would've been awfully nice.
