The money - if you ever see it! The actual data gatherers on the floor are very supportive and they will help console you when a manager or the head of data gathering starts picking on you. It will happen. Just accept it!

Where to start - The management The hours The targets The constant threat of being 'Walked off the floor' (fired) (This is my fourth week by the way!) Huntswood lied to me in my interview, first and foremost, making it sound like it was a doddle, the hours were 9 - 5 and the targets were VERY manageable. In reality its nothing like that and I can honestly say I really regret ever coming to work here. I will be handing in my notice within the fortnight. I'm having to stick it out until then just so they don't take half my pay packet to cover training costs, which is hilarious because the training didn't teach me a thing about the job and I was totally clueless on my first proper day on the floor. Honestly, if you value seeing friends, family and your own health and well being then this place won't be for you. Don't be fooled by the 140 a day wadge because once you have spent two weeks coming in at 7am and leaving at 9pm that money doesn't seem so good after all. Not when you could go to places in London to data gather and its 300 a day with NO TARGETS. Please think twice before committing yourself to this role as it really isn't all it seems when you first go for an interview and start your training.

    Advice to Management

TL's - support your teams and stop threatening to fire them! In my team alone everyone, and I mean everyone, is going to leave. We apply for new jobs at lunch! As for upper management, you need to stop walking around glaring at people and actually look into why the job is taking so long. Its not the workers, its the process. You can't flog a dead donkey and expect it to pick up speed! I honestly believe if you carry on this way the bank that is giving you this business is going to get wind of the terrible job you're doing and take the work away. Its either that or get another 100 million pound fine! I really cannot say this enough, if you put that amount of stress on workers you will get negative results. Red files, and people leaving left, right and centre. Its a shame that you feel that treating people this way is acceptable but to me and to all the people that are secretly leaving too, it isn't.
