learning curve on IBM in house language hard to pick up on
Acronyms have a variety of meanings
First month is a blur of trying to figure out how to use systems and understand whats going on in meetings
    Fast pace environment
There can be some down time ( read as much material as you can and ask questions)

    Advice to Management

Have more training secessions with interns or have interns write down a brief description of there duties and how they discovered the best way to accomplish tasks. This may serve as a break in the learning cure, allowing new interns to benefit from the success of past interns (specific to department) e.g. accounting.. Ultimately making for a greater experience for each intern that is hired in to the company.

Have one on one meetings with your interns every few weeks to see how they are progressing, and have a project that will be worked on by the interns and manger to enhance the manger employee relationship.
It would be nice to have one full time employee walk an intern through each of the systems that they will be most involved with during their internship.
