I worked at ICL Performance Products as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

ICL keeps close tabs on all their entities, so knowing the cost analysis of your project is a strong, however my manager didn't share any of this with me.

    Cons

They started a new project without knowing whether it was ready to go into production or not. I didn't have tools, inventory, or even a finished shop. It took 4 months to get me all the parts I needed, and I ended up spending $500 of my own money just so I could get it going. I didn't have a bathroom or water on site. Nobody was doing any sales, and I was laid off because costs for production were too high. They didn't do their homework and neither did I. It was a bad choice.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get more personally involved with managers that don't have a track record. Talk to your other personnel.
