    Pros

IHS offers relatively competitive salaries and a comfortable work environment. They provide one day of volunteer time every year to use for any 501(c)(3) activity you would like to use it for. They are open to flexible scheduling and telecommuting.

    Cons

They are publicly-owned, so there is a lot of emphasis on the quarterly results. They have grown quickly over the last few years, and have reorganized things frequently, sometimes to the detriment of existing productive working relationships.

    Advice to Management

Management by spreadsheet is not always successful.
