    I have been working at INC Research


    There are great projects and programs at INC Research; there is a lot of work, no lack of it. INC has great caliber of talented and driven employees.


    Upper management needs to be flattened. There is a neverending heirarchy of directors, assistant directores, associate directors, global directors, program directors, executive directors-----Directors directors directors. But the directors are not really directing, too many chiefs at INC, but not enough indians. INC does not pay the industry standard for middle-experienced professionals, only executive and entry-level. There needs to be more spirit at INC, there are NO socials whatsoever. Employees get no perks, because it is growing exponentially. INC has no Holiday socials or a party. We never get to party, we work hard and there are few rewards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Start listening to middle management (line managers, department directors); they have excellent ideas and they are the "people managers", unlike executive level mgmt who is concerned with the bottom line. High turnover is a major red flag; investigate why, ask and listen to the people in those positions what works, what doesn't and for ideas and solutions. A strong, dedicated Data Manager, Programmer, etc. is not so easy to find. So you want to invest and keep the good ones. The good ones are leaving for better pay outside INC, and to go to companies that reward, fairly promote, fairly compensate and celebrate all levels, not just the executives.
