    I think IOM does a lot of good and has opportunities to work in countries that are closed to other western international organizations.


    It's very difficult to break into a permanent position with IOM because their work is project based. If you happen to be lucky enough to get put on a funded project, then there's room for advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I would have liked if my supervisors could have at least provided some contacts for future networking after finishing my internship. I didn't get much help from them after I left.
