I have been working at IPC Healthcare full-time

They seem to be everywhere and will hire anyone with a pulse.

They absolutely prostitute themselves out and push a volume based practice. Weekends? Working. Weekdays. Working. Evenings? Yup working too. It's nice though, you do get about 2-4 days off a month after seeing on average 25-50 patients a day. They also have a "bonus" model. If you get your discharges out fast enough, then you get your "bonus" ie the revenue you made for IPC minus their 33% cut. But at least its a big company that allows time off (not so much), or medical and dental ( with you making huge payments into each out of your take home which can be $1000 a month). So yes, join if you want to work like a dog and make money for the company at the expense of you and your family. I'd write more, but i have to get back to billing and charts until the wee hours of the night.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Respect your physicians and stop stifiling them for the sake of getting IPC out everywhere. Just because the physicians take everything and bend over backwards to get IPC in the door doesnt mean it will last much longer. I see a very poor year for IPC in 2015 and much worse on 2016.
