Current Employee - Field Service Representative Part Time in Charlotte, NC

I have been working at IRI part-time (more than 3 years)

This particular job position is very flexible. You are not micro-managed, you work independently, and can work whatever hours suits your needs as long as you communicate with your field manager via email or phone and complete your work by the designated deadlines.

The position is poorly underpaid for the job expectations, duties and sometimes very heavy workloads. The travel mileage was taken away from us and the travel pay time was bumped up from minimum wage to whatever your area is paying you hourly (if you don't go below the hourly expected UPC collection). This initially was made to seem like a positive thing but in reality we are making less money and putting lots of wear and tear on our cars.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bump the hourly wages up, give us back our mileage and compensate us properly! We are the workhorses in the field that provide you with the clients data. Don't overload your field managers with so many FSR's that they can't keep track of everything that's going on. And follow up with your promises and finally get rid of the outdated, clumsy, back breaking equipment.
