I worked at Idea Grove full-time

    Pros

I got to work on a variety of projects for a variety of clients. Friday happy hour was a great way to relax and socialize at the end of the week.

    Cons

Expect low pay and high-high-high expectations/perfection. The president likes to hire old newspaper men and beautiful young women with new PR degrees. Focus is on content marketing. You'll never hear the president recommend advertising, direct mail, email, trade shows, collateral, research, promo items or sponsorships--because he doesn't know anything about those aspects of marketing.
