    Worst working environment -- EVER!

I worked at Ike Trading Coi. full-time (less than an year)

Lots of parking. Easy commute for Beaverton residents.

Culture - people don't say hi or good morning. managers don't talk to subordinates, unless you speak Japanese. One size fits mentality. They do not believe in streamlining, improvements or efficiency. New ideas NOT welcome, only their way.
Database stuck in the 80s. A 5-minute task takes 3 or 4 times longer here as everything is done through MS. Excel. When you have too many large files open (multiple files need to be running due to pulling data from one to another), it tends to crash & happens a few times throughout the day.
L-O-N-G hours ... when your shift is 8am-5pm, leaving at 5:30pm is considered early. Coming in early & working through lunch still doesn't justify for leaving at 5:30pm.
    Looking stressed is frowned upon.
Albeit the probation period is 90 days, but you're expected to take on ALL responsibilities pertained to your position & be up to speed within 30 days.
    Company is NOT family friendly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dept. manager needs to communicate with subordinates regularly, not only when there's a problem. Strict & micromanage does not translate into organized. Working harder does not translate into working smarter. One size does not fit. Streamline, efficiency & streamline.
