Competitive entry pay/benefits. Ample vacation time. Open door policy.

Poor work/life balance. Terrible merit system. No incentive to stay in a position and perform well other than keeping your job.

    Advice to Management

Retention is a problem in the Mocksville plant. Please reward folks for good performance and revamp the merit system. TEAMBUILDING is the missing link preventing morale and engagement from improving. There is way too much bureaucracy within the business and the SBU model has only added more management cost with no real improvement in output or productivity. You have to invest in your equipment, tools, and people to improve. Adding a VP in Davidson or another "coach" will have little to no impact on plant performance. The performance metrics are already proving it.
