    I have been working at Insight Global full-time (less than an year)


    Insight Global was my first job as a college graduate, and has made the transition for me into the "real world" as seemless as possible. While yes there may be the occassional rough day, being surrounded by like-minded and hard-working people make this job as great as it is. There is always an optimistic feeling surrounding every office, which is driven by how hard every employee works. Everyone from a first week recruiter in training to the corporate executive team gives 100% every day and it shows with Insight Global's success.


    Starting out, the pay is not amazing, and the commission structure of 1% on placements does not do much, however as people get promoted, work hard, and bring in solid business, the paychecks and commission can skyrocket quickly. Also with a quota of certain numbers to hit every week, it can put a little extra stress on recruiters and account managers, sometimes requiring hours of overtime. If you have a resilient attitude and enjoy what you're doing, however, nothing deters you from reaching your goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Some of the recruiting processes (and possibly sales processes) can still be fine-tuned a bit more. Obviously we hire the right people, but putting less stress and implementing a better training program would raise our first year retention rate and help the company grow even more.
