I worked at Insight Global as a contractor for more than a year

The recruiters were friendly people that will eventually try to help you. I learned a lot, and it looks good on the resume.

My recruiters kept getting reassigned, so it moved offices. The pay was absolutely horrible, the contract kept getting extended with failed promises of going permanent with the company I was working with. I was working alongside IT staff making almost double what I was, and driving an extra 20-30 miles to do so, because I was asked to by the company.

More competitive pay. There was very little work-life balance, and benefits were available, but far from affordable. The company only seems to value income, rather than employee satisfaction, and did not make an effort to mitigate this concern of mine.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work with your contract employees. Not push them back and forth between several recruiters. It says a lot when recuiters are constantly getting promoted and going on vacation, when a contract employee can't even miss a single HOUR of work without being in bad shape.
