    Pros

Very open/approachable management. Good communication from senior management on why the company does what it does. Good work-life balance, you will work hard but when you need a break you will get it. Excellent health care. Challenging work. Good at providing opportunities to try different jobs.

    Cons

Performance can be more influence by the visibility of the projects on which you work, than on the performance on the job you have which may not be that visible. Making significant change is difficult. Aversion to risk at middle management has increased with the size of the company.

    Advice to Management

Not every project is on management's radar. Reward/recognition should be more driven by performance to expectations of the job at hand, not by what is most visible to management.
