    I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Solid total compensation and tremendous benefits. Only company I know of that still offers a sabbatical program for every employee. We had significant healthcare costs over the last year and never had to worry about more than the deductible. Low turnover is a reflection that they treat employees well. Work/life balance is great in sales, part of the benefit of having only a few thousand salespeople driving $60B in revenue.

    Cons

    Low turnover also means few opportunities to move up and highly skilled people all competing for those positions. The culture has waned over the years, but the stated values of constructive confrontation, regular 1:1's with your manager, and assumed responsibility are as good as they come. The CEO actually looks at statistics on the frequency of employees badging in (versus working from home). T&E budgets have gotten ridiculously tight since he came into the role.

    Re institute the old R&R where you get rid of the bottom 5%.
