    Pros

The company wide benefits were mediocre in scope but excellent in quality. There was room to grow across the hospitality industry and the company always tried to fill positions from within.

    Cons

A franchise situation limits a lot of the opportunities for growth and leaves a lot of leeway for the private owners to live up to the letter of their obligations while actually doing little or nothing to make those opportunities available to their staff.

    Advice to Management

Communicate. By that I don't mean churn out an endless stream of emails with little to no valuable content for the mere appearance of volume but actually have something to say and make sure that said missives provide your departments with the information they need to serve the customers.
