    I have been working at InterContinental Hotels Group

    Pros

    -Good benefits and the experience.
    -Working with such a diverse staff.

    Cons

    Management is incompetent in Food & Beverage. They withhold information & blatently lie to employees. There is so much gossip that people can't focus on work. There is clear favoritism shown toward certain employees over others. Turnover is astounding. Managers write you up for being 30 minutes late, then come in 4 hours late the next day. They do not lead by example and there is no training. You learn on the floor, but as soon as you make a mistake, you are reprimanded, regardless of the fact that you were never properly trained.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire some competent people. Learn to lead by example and show your face on the floor. This is the lowest rated Intercontinental in the country & Food & Beverage has the lowest scores FOR A REASON- MANAGEMENT! It's not a big surprise that people don;t care about their jobs there. I know it's just a matter of time for me.
