I have been working at International Automotive Components full-time (more than 10 years)

The people are the biggest plus to working at IAC. Without the relationships I built, I would have left the company years ago. Some of the special events, life the yearly golf outing, are a plus. The time off (holidays and vacation) is pretty good.

The compensation is below average and is not at all equal for people in similar positions. The benefits aren't great overall either. There are functional silos galore. The politics are endless for a company that has a "no egos, no politics" slogan.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management team needs to pay people what they are worth. The benefits package needs to be overhauled. The politics need to stop. The CEO needs to be open to suggestions on company strategy and the management team needs to speak their mind more rather than doing the same thing over and over again even when it isn't working.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
