I worked at International Rescue Committee as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

The work environment is very relaxed, and I was able to easily form friendships with other interns and employees. In addition, everyone is very passionate about the work they do and about helping people.

    Cons

The branch I worked for was definitely understaffed. This was an issue as an intern because there was not always someone available to answer questions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Very easy-going, make an effort to always stay busy. Going above and beyond will get noticed.
