I have been working at Interstate Hotels full-time (More than 3 years)
Relatively relaxed work environment. Given a fair amount of autonomy as opposed to being micromanaged. Vacation hours add up pretty quickly.
No consistent schedule. Can bounce from evening to day shift from one week and/or day to the next, preventing one from being able to pick up a second job or take college classes. That would be fine if it meant it contributed to promotions, but chances of that are close to none. No active interest from management to invest in their own employees
Advice to Management
Keep good employees by investing in their future, not by giving them irregular work schedules.
